Important Transportation Information
We’re excited to make your journey to and from the 43rd Annual Meeting of the European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases as smooth and hassle-free as possible! ESPID 2025 is glad to announce we will be providing transportation options from the city centre to the Meeting venue, the Bucharest International Conference Centre, located in one of the most prominent buildings in Bucharest, the Palace of the Parliament.
Public Transportation Buses
For all delegates accommodated in Bucharest City Center we have organized ESPID 2025 branded buses, operating in the following directions and hours:
- Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 10:00am from the city center to Entrance C1 of the Parliament Palace (main meeting entrance of the venue)
- Monday to Friday from 17:30 to 19:30h from the Parliament Palace (meeting venue) back to the city center.
The buses will be stopping to take or drop ESPID 2025 delegates from the following 6 bus stops (all bus stops where the buses will be taking and dropping delegates are also branded with ESPID25 flags so it is easier for you to see them):
Morning buses – city centre to the venue (07:00-10:00):
- Stop 1 – NICOLAE GOLESCU: Closest for guests of Mercure Bucharest City Center Hotel, Park Inn by Radisson Hotel, Radisson Blu Hotel, International Atheene Palace Hotel
- Stop 2 – BD. NICOLAE BALCESCU: Closest for guests of Lido by Phoenicia Hotel, Scala Hotel
- Stop 3 – PIATA 21 DEC: Closest for guests of Grand Hotel Continental, Novotel, Capitol Hotel, Grand Hotel Bucharest
- Stop 4 – PIATA SF GHEORGHE: Closest for guests of Marmorosch Hotel, Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, Moxy Hotel
- Stop 5 – PIATA UNIRII: Closest for guests of Europa Royal Bucharest Hotel, New Era Hotel, Concorde Old Bucharest Hotel, Holt Hotel, The Mansion Hotel
- Stop 6 – PALATUL PARLAMENTULUI: Final bus stop 400m away from C1 entrance of the venue
Afternoon buses – venue to the city centre (17:30-19:30):

For delegates accommodated in Holiday Inn Bucharest
There is a direct city bus (regular line all day long, non-ESPID branded) – the bus no is 104. The travel is a total of 8 bus stops with final destination: Piata Natiunilor Unite, which is in front of the Parliament Palace. From there they need to cross the boulevard and go the gate C1 – 500m.
For delegates accommodated in the JW Marriott Hotel
A minibus will be available to take you to C1 entrance of the Parliament Palace (main meeting entrance of the venue) during the day from Monday till Friday:
- Morning shuttles – Hotel-Venue (07:00-10:00)
- Afternoon shuttles – Venue-Hotel (17:30-19:30)
