1st ESPID Summer School in Vaccinology
Athens, 16TH-20TH September 2024

The 1st ESPID Summer School aims to enrich knowledge in Vaccinology for a small select group of 30 participants, chosen among ESPID members. The scientific program developed by the ESPID Board along with a distinguished faculty of globally recognized experts in Vaccinology aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of various facets of vaccinology. The topics covered will include immunology, vaccine development, clinical trials, regulatory processes, emerging vaccines, vaccination strategies and policies, program implementation, addressing vaccine hesitancy, managing humanitarian emergencies, and exploring social, ethical, financial, and communication considerations.

Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

American Medical Association (AMA)

Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Educational Objectives

After participating in this educational event, learners should be able to:

Target Audience

The principal intended recipients of the 1st ESPID Summer School are fully qualified medical specialist doctors, particularly those who are members of the European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID). The program is designed for participants who are at a senior level in their careers, such as experienced pediatric infectious disease specialists or those with a strong focus on vaccinology.

To Receive Your CME/CPD Certificate

The CME/CPD certificate will be available after completing the online evaluation and credit claiming procedure. The process takes about 5 minutes. We thank you for your feedback as it is an important part of CME/CPD accreditation and helps improve future educational offerings.

Before 20 December 2024:
1. Complete the anonymous online evaluation.
2. Complete the credit claim form and submit it.
3. The CME/CPD certificate will be available for download and/or print for your personal records.

  • Kindly note that the online evaluation will be active on the last day of the summer school. You will then be able to access it and claim your CME/CPD certificate.
