We really do hope that all of you will be able to travel and come celebrate 40 years of ESPID Meetings in Athens, 9-13 May 2022.

At the same time, we know that many of you might not be able to travel. But more than that, we have seen how much more accessible the latest research and practices in paediatric infectious diseases have become thanks to virtual events. Our ESPID online meetings in 2020 and 2021 had more participants from different countries than ever before. And we want to keep this new level of accessibility.

Therefore, we are planning a full in-person meeting in Athens and an online experience. We want 2022 to be a special year as we celebrate our 40^th meeting, and in doing so, we will also celebrate leading the way into a new hybrid meeting world of, “In-Person” and “Online”.

And of course, we will follow recommended COVID-19 health guidelines at the venue to help you have a COVID-safe experience.
