The prestigious Bill Marshall Award is offered to senior ESPID members for their contributions to paediatric infectious diseases (PID) in general and to ESPID in particular.

The ESPID Distinguished Award for Education is offered to ESPID members who have excelled in the development and delivery of education and training.

Congratulations to Oana Falup-Pecurariu 

The ESPID Distinguished Award for Communication seeks to recognise ESPID members and other distinguished individuals who have achieved success in promoting public awareness and understanding of issues of importance to public health in relation to PID.

Congratulations to Elizabeth Whittaker

There are up to two awards made available each year: one for clinical research and the other one for basic research. These awards will be made to outstanding young investigators in the field of paediatric infectious diseases.

Liat Ashkenazi-Hoffnung (Clinical Research) and Filippos G. Filippatos  (Basic Research) 

The goal of the fellowship award is to stimulate basic or clinical research that utilizes advanced techniques and methods to improve the health of children by prevention or management of infectious diseases.

Congratulations to Naim Ouldali and Jop Jans 

The Research Networking Presentation Awards aim to promote collaborative and high quality research by ESPID early career investigators.

Congratulations to Rachael Barr and James Gilchrist

The prestigious ESPID PIDJ Award is offered to honour ESPID members for high quality publications in Pediatric Infectious Disease Journal (PIDJ) and to strengthen the relationship between the journal and ESPID.
